The Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan intends to install a drip irrigation system around Issyk-Kul Lake. The project is aimed at the rational use of the region’s water resources. Erlist Akunbekov, Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry, told reporters.
Energy Minister of Kyrgyzstan Taalaibek Ibraev visited Besh-Burkhan coal field in Nookat district of Osh region. The minister inspected the progress of mining operations and assessed the upgraded infrastructure of the enterprise, the ministry’s press service reported.
