District administrations, together with the municipal enterprise City Road Transport Infrastructure, will check all municipal parking lots and determine where special spaces can be made. Aibek Dzhunushaliev also instructed to provide information on how many such spaces already exist, where they are located and in what areas new ones can be created.
As the municipality noted, special parking spaces will appear wherever conditions allow.
A year ago, the Bishkek City Hall, in response to a request from Zhogorku Kenesh deputy Dastan Bekeshev, reported that there were 47 municipal parking lots in the capital. Each has two spaces for people with disabilities — 94 in total.
