The market is showing a notable gap between the growth rates of lending and customer deposits. The loan portfolio’s 18.9 percent growth is nearly three times faster than the 6.8 percent increase in deposits. The gap points to strong lending activity and high demand for borrowed funds amid a slowdown in the inflow of new deposits.
