Under the decree, the maximum staff of the central office of the Presidential Affairs Department will be 210 positions.

Another 3,333 positions are allocated to subordinate organizations financed from the republican budget. This brings the total maximum staffing level to 3,543 positions.

The decree also amends the register of state and municipal positions. It separately defines categories of positions in the central office of the Presidential Affairs Department, its subordinate units and the Presidential Archive.

These include positions for heads of centers and services, heads of departments and sectors, deputy heads, advisers, chief and leading specialists, and specialists.

The changes also affect the president’s April 29, 2026 decree on urgent measures to ensure the effective implementation of Kyrgyzstan’s digital transformation. Some provisions are repealed, while others are brought into line with the new management system.

The Presidential Affairs Department has been instructed to bring its decisions into compliance with the new decree and carry out the necessary organizational measures.

At the same time, a 2022 presidential decree that previously regulated the department’s activities, along with a number of subsequent decrees and individual provisions adopted to amend it between 2022 and 2025, are being repealed.

Oversight of the decree’s implementation has been assigned to the Department for Monitoring the Implementation of Decisions of the President and the Cabinet of Ministers within the Presidential Administration.
