On August 20, under the leadership of Interior Minister Ulan Niyazbekov, a staff meeting was held with the participation of heads of the central office, regional departments, and main departments of internal affairs.

The main topic was security during the upcoming international events.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs discussed maintaining public order, strengthening crime prevention, suppressing illegal actions that could provoke interethnic hostility, and improving the responsiveness of police officers.

Ulan Niyazbekov instructed officials to strengthen preventive measures directly in the areas where the events will take place and to promptly identify potential threats to public safety.

Special attention was given to professional discipline. Police officers were instructed to strictly comply with the law and ethical standards, and to behave correctly and politely when interacting with citizens.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs emphasized that police will be on high alert during the SCO summit, the World Nomad Games, and visits by foreign leaders.
