According to eyewitnesses, the accident occurred during the night time. They said the area had insufficient street lighting and that the road construction equipment lacked the necessary reflective elements and warning lights.

Following the crash, local residents called on the Ministry of Transport and Communications, the Road Maintenance Department and other responsible road services to check the safety of traffic arrangements at the construction site, including warning signs, barriers, lighting and the visibility of road equipment.

The driver, 22, and two passengers, 22 and 23, respectively, were taken to a hospital in Kant.
