Of the total number of violations, 30 were detected at border checkpoints and 41 outside them.

The Border Service also recorded 134 cases of illegal movement of unregistered cargo across the internal borders of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). The total value of the goods exceeded 49.2 million soms.

In the first seven months of 2026, 133 such cases were registered at checkpoints and one outside a checkpoint.

Illegal livestock movement and damage to fences

Over the first seven months of 2026, border guards foiled 63 cases of illegal movement of livestock across the state border, detaining shipments of horses, cattle and small livestock.

In some cases, violators attempted to move animals outside designated checkpoints by cutting or damaging wire barriers at equipped sections of the border.

Information pressure on Border Service

«The intensification of efforts to combat smuggling has prompted attempts at information pressure and efforts to discredit the Border Service by individuals interested in maintaining illegal channels,» the Border Service said.

The agency stressed that it would continue efforts to identify and shut down channels for the illegal movement of goods and livestock, calling the protection of the state’s economic interests its unconditional priority.
