Trade turnover with Russia reached $908.4 million, accounting for 27.1 percent of the total.

Total trade turnover with these two countries for the first three months reached $1,953.5 billion (out of the country’s total of $3,356.2 billion).

It is noted that imports from China account for 34.7 percent of the total ($996.6 million), while Russia accounts for 26.6 percent ($763.8 million). The republic’s top five suppliers also include:

Kazakhstan: 10 percent ($286 million);

Main markets for goods from Kyrgyzstan

Kyrgyzstan’s main export destinations remain Russia (29.9 percent — $144.6 million) and Kazakhstan (22.7 percent — $109.5 million). The top five destinations for Kyrgyz products remain:

Uzbekistan — 11.1 percent ($53.6 million);

Turkey — 5.8 percent ($28.1 million).

Kyrgyzstan’s trade volume for three months

From January to March 2026, Kyrgyzstan’s foreign trade turnover amounted to $3,356.2 billion, a 4 percent decrease.

The balance remains in deficit: while exports fell by 13.5 percent, imported goods reached $2,873.3 billion. This resulted in a negative balance of $2,390 billion.

The high share of mutual trade with EAEU countries (39.9 percent) provides a certain stability, but dependence on imports from third countries remains critical.
