Marlen Mamataliev noted that in recent years, Kyrgyzstan — Belarus relations have received new impetus, opening up significant opportunities for further deepening the partnership. He stated that bilateral contacts are stable and regular, and the parties are jointly working to fill the agenda with practical initiatives.

In his speech, the speaker outlined the progressive development of trade and economic ties between the two countries. He spoke about the importance of jointly achieving the ambitious goal of reaching $500 million in bilateral trade by 2030.

Marlen Mamataliev emphasized that Belarus is one of the leaders among CIS countries in providing high-quality medical services, including cancer treatment and organ transplants.

Considering Kyrgyzstan’s existing problems with cancer treatment and organ transplants, he proposed considering the possibility of allocating quotas for free treatment for citizens of Kyrgyzstan in dire need, noting that a similar practice already exists with Turkey.

Marlen Mamataliev drew the Belarusian side’s attention to Kyrgyzstan’s significant potential for tourists and invited his counterpart to the 6th World Nomad Games.

Natalia Kochanova, Chairperson of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus, noted that thanks to the political will and trusting relationship between the presidents of the two countries, Kyrgyzstan — Belarus cooperation has reached a qualitatively new level and received additional impetus for further development. She emphasized that intensifying bilateral cooperation opens up broad opportunities for implementing joint projects in trade, economic, industrial, cultural, humanitarian, and interparliamentary spheres.
