According to the ministry, mudflows occurred in Karool, Bash-Dobo, and Tort-Kol rural areas, as well as in Uzgen itself.

As a result of the disaster, water flooded the basements of 57 residential buildings and the yards of more than 40 households.

Emergency recovery efforts are ongoing.

Dozens of rescuers and specialized equipment have been deployed to deal with the aftermath. Emergency services are carrying out cleanup operations to remove mud and debris flows from affected areas.

No information on casualties has been reported.
