According to the ministry, from May 26 to May 30 snowfall, avalanches, and icy conditions are expected along the Karakol—Enilchek road between the 75th and 90th kilometers, including the Chon-Ashuu Pass.

The dangerous section is located at an altitude from 3,400 to 3,900 meters above sea level.

The worsening weather conditions are expected to be caused by precipitation and rising air temperatures.

Rescuers warned that snow avalanches are possible in the foothill areas, while icy roads may form on the road at night.

Drivers are urged to exercise extra caution and maintain a distance of at least 500 meters between vehicles.
