The event was attended online by Abdikarim Alimbaev, Chairman of the State Border Service of the Kyrgyz Republic. Mamyrzhan Rakhimov, Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic in Batken region, local leaders, and border guards were also present at the event.

The leaders first congratulated the border guards on their professional holiday and noted that the opening of the Sogment border post is an important event in strengthening national security and ensuring stability in the border areas. They also emphasized that this demonstrates the state’s special attention to border security and the work of border guards.

All the necessary conditions for high-quality service have been created at Sogment border post. Modern barracks have been built, and the necessary conditions for service are in place.
