According to him, as of May 12, the restrictive list included 90,721citizens. The Foreign Ministry representative drew particular attention to the specifics of how the database functions and urged compatriots to exercise maximum legal caution.
Violations of Russian migration legislation serve as grounds for inclusion in the registry. Being listed entails a number of restrictions, including the blocking of bank cards, limitations on movement and re-registration procedures, and, in the event of detention, police are authorized to deport the violator under a simplified procedure without a court hearing after first taking the person to a migration center, including Sakharovo migration center.
«The registry of controlled persons is updated four times a day — every six hours. It is a kind of ‘live’ and constantly changing mechanism. Kyrgyzstanis staying in Russia need to study the new migration rules as carefully as possible. In cases of untimely, incomplete, or improper registration and renewal of documents, they instantly risk ending up in this registry,» Almazbek Baibosov warned.
According to the Foreign Ministry, as of May 14 this year, about 502,000 citizens of Kyrgyzstan were staying in the Russian Federation.
