According to the ministry, the mandatory labeling on the packaging of the quarantineable products was found to be missing, which constitutes a violation of the EAEU quarantine phytosanitary requirements.

As a result, the import of the cargo into the Kyrgyz Republic was prohibited, and the products were returned in accordance with legal requirements.

The Department of Chemicalization, Plant Protection, and Quarantine continuously conducts control measures aimed at ensuring the country’s phytosanitary security, protecting the domestic market, and preventing the introduction of quarantine pests.
