According to MP Aidos Sarym, this concerns buildings and land for the embassies of the two countries, as well as the residences of Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary.

The document was signed on August 22, 2025, in Bishkek. It determines the procedure and conditions for the transfer of facilities for free use to diplomatic missions of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.

After completing the parliamentary procedures, Akorda will be able to complete ratification of the agreement.

Kyrgyzstan has already ratified this document. President Sadyr Japarov signed the ratification law on February 20, 2026. The Zhogorku Kenesh (Parliament) approved the agreement on January 29 of this year.
