- Первый этап охватил 30 сел в Ошской и Баткенской областях, улучшив условия жизни и доходы фермеров.
The event was attended by Rustamzhan Baltabaev, Deputy Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic; representatives of Osh, Batken, and Jalal-Abad regions; Kim Kwangjae, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to the Kyrgyz Republic; Lim Soyeon, Country Director of the KOICA Office in the Kyrgyz Republic; representatives of Good Neighbors and members of local communities.
During the ceremony, participants highlighted the results of the first phase of the project, which was implemented in 30 villages in Osh and Batken regions. The project contributed to improving living conditions, increasing farmers’ incomes, expanding women’s participation in public life and strengthening the capacity of local communities.
The total project budget is $9 million. The second phase will be implemented from 2026 to 2030 in Osh, Batken and Jalal-Abad regions. It aims to promote sustainable rural development, support agriculture, expand women’s economic opportunities and strengthen cooperation between local communities and government authorities.
Participants expressed confidence that the new phase of the project will make a significant contribution to improving the quality of life of the rural population and further developing the regions of the Kyrgyz Republic.
