Water flows blocked approximately the 100th kilometer of the road, forcing authorities to temporarily close traffic in both directions. Preliminary reports indicate that several vehicles have been trapped in the affected area.

A rapid response team from the Department of Emergency Situations of Issyk-Kul district has been dispatched to the scene.
