The Ministry of Transport and Communications said road maintenance crews, using special equipment, cleared the 92nd kilometer of the road at 00:52 a.m. Traffic in both directions has resumed.

Work is still underway to widen and fully clear the roadway to ensure safe traffic flow.

The body of one of the men was found shortly before midnight. Search efforts for the second missing man are ongoing.

Minister of Emergency Situations Kanatbek Chynybaev arrived at the scene to coordinate emergency recovery operations. He reviewed the progress of the work and assigned tasks to the relevant services aimed at ensuring public safety and swiftly eliminating the consequences of the emergency situation.

According to the ministry, the situation remains under the minister’s personal supervision. Rescue and search operations continue.
