According to the ministry, officers from the State Service on Drug Control of the Ministry of Internal Affairs carried out investigative and operational measures that resulted in the detention of a suspected drug courier A.M.T., 24, as well as K.U.I., 25, who allegedly packaged narcotics for further distribution.

Further operations led to the arrest of two foreign nationals, identified as I.K.K., 35, and M.V.Ch., 34. Investigators say the suspects rented a house in a village in Alamedin district of Chui region, where they organized a laboratory for the production of synthetic drugs.

During a search of the rented property, police seized equipment and materials used in the production of synthetic narcotics, special protective clothing, and drugs allegedly intended for sale. The confiscated substances included 1.4 kilograms of mephedrone, 3.05 kilograms of Afghan-origin hashish (chars), and 2 grams of cannabis oil produced in Thailand.
