The total volume of financing will amount to $1,016.16 billion.

According to Deputy Finance Minister Nurbek Akzholov, $34 million of the total will be provided as grants, while $982 million will come in the form of concessional loans. The loans will be provided for 25 years with a five-year grace period and an interest rate of about 1.5 percent per annum.

The funds are planned to be used for:

irrigation and provision of clean drinking water — $174.6 million;

Kyrgyzstan’s public debt at the end of 2025 amounted to $8.9 billion, or 39.5 percent of the country’s GDP.
