According to Airports of Kyrgyzstan OJSC, internet access problems across the country were observed starting at around 1 a.m. local time. As a result, passenger check-in procedures at the airport were temporarily suspended.

The situation was further complicated by the unavailability of the RAM backup check-in system, which prevented the airport from quickly switching to backup service.

By 2:50 a.m., core systems were partially restored, after which airport staff resumed passenger check-in for flights to Dubai, Ankara, Istanbul, and Antalya. Check-in for the Bishkek—Moscow flight operated by Aeroflot continued without interruption via the airline’s own system.

Due to the technical issues, flights to Dubai, Istanbul, Antalya, as well as several domestic Bishkek—Osh flights were delayed.

The airport reported that all information systems and communication channels are now functioning as usual.

Airports of Kyrgyzstan OJSC apologized to passengers for the inconvenience.
