According to the City Hall, the sites were previously in a neglected condition. After redevelopment, they were transformed into modern public spaces for residents’ recreation.

The new mini-parks have renovated sidewalks, lighting, benches, and waste bins. In some areas, the facades of residential buildings were also repainted as part of the improvement works.

Osh Mayor Zhanarbek Akayev stated that greening and urban improvement efforts will continue, with a decision already made to create ten additional mini-parks in the city.
