The document aims to develop legal cooperation between the two countries and regulate the transfer of convicts to serve their sentences in their home country.

According to Deputy Prosecutor General Umutkan Konkubaeva, 2,012 Pakistani citizens have been prosecuted in Kyrgyzstan, 672 of whom have been deported from the country.

Additionally, 18 Pakistani citizens have been convicted, one of whom was sentenced to life imprisonment.

It is noted that there are currently no citizens of Kyrgyzstan serving sentences in Pakistan.
