According to lawyer Tologon Keldibaev, special equipment arrived at the scene and began demolishing houses and outbuildings. During the demolition, one of the walls collapsed, trapping the girl under the rubble. According to eyewitnesses, she was sleeping at the time of the incident.

The victim was taken to the Osh Regional Children’s Hospital, where she is receiving medical care.

According to the lawyer, residents were not notified of the work in advance. Local residents are also expressing dissatisfaction with the demolition, stating that the property has not yet been assessed and compensation amounts have not been determined.

A municipality representative on site stated that compensation would be calculated and paid in accordance with established procedures. He stated that the assessment process takes time, while road construction must begin immediately.

He also noted that if a residential building is more than 70 percent destroyed, government agencies are prepared to promptly provide temporary housing to the owners.

The circumstances of the incident are being investigated. Information on the girl’s condition was not available at the time of publication.
