Photo Internet Abdupaty Matkalikov had held the post since February 20, less than four months. He was appointed mayor following a reshuffle in the city’s leadership.

According to public records, Abdupaty Matkalikov was born on January 1, 1964, in Jalal-Abad. He graduated from Frunze Polytechnic University in 1985 with a degree in mechanical engineering. He began his career in the automotive industry and later was engaged in entrepreneurship and socio-political activities.

The reasons for his dismissal are not specified in official documents.

The name of the new mayor of Manas is expected to be announced soon.
