Nikol Pashinyan said he will attend the session and address issues arising from restrictions on the export of Armenian goods, emphasizing that the Armenian government is still dealing with these issues.

«The EAEU institutions are functioning. This is a routine process in which we will participate,» the Prime Minister noted at the briefing.

As a reminder, Yerevan and Washington signed a charter on a comprehensive strategic partnership. Russian authorities have sharply criticized Armenia’s leadership. The reason for this was the EU summit held in the country, where a number of documents strengthening relations with Europe were signed.

Since the end of May, Rosselkhoznadzor of Russia began blocking the import of flowers, and on June 12, it banned the import of virtually all «quarantineable products,» including eggplants, live fish, brandy, and some wines.

The next meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council will be held on August 6-7 in Cholpon-Ata, Kyrgyzstan.
