During the meeting, held in an open dialogue format, participants reviewed matters concerning drinking water supply, wastewater system development, and the improvement of urban infrastructure. Particular attention was paid to the issue of ensuring access to safe drinking water in Shamaldy-Sai. City Council deputies presented their appeals and proposals on the matter.

Akunbekov noted that providing the population with clean and safe drinking water is one of the priority areas of state policy. To address the issue, he instructed the Taza Suu Department to take the matter under special control, work closely with local authorities, accelerate the preparation of project and cost documentation, and identify funding sources.

In addition, the meeting participants also discussed the construction of a bridge, commissioning of social facilities, road repairs, and the development of the city’s engineering and utility infrastructure.
