A Mazda car was swept away by the mudflows. Passing drivers and local residents recovered the bodies of two of the deceased at the scene. Three more victims were taken to the Alai District Hospital, but one of them died en route.

Rescuers searched the mudflow bed along three kilometers and recovered the bodies of three more people, bringing the total number of fatalities to six.

Additionally, reports have been received that livestock may have been swept away by mudflows in Chyiyrchyk area as a result of heavy rains. After an inspection, local authorities confirmed the death of 31 sheep.

A survey of Besh-Konysh and Bek-Zhai pastures revealed no other injuries or fatalities.
