According to the press service, Deputy Mayor Atai Muratbek held an on-site meeting to inspect the construction and reconstruction of the capital’s road infrastructure.

Officials began their inspection with the eastern bypass road. This is a new 16-kilometer toll highway that begins in the village of Kok-Zhar. The road is scheduled to open in December 2026.

A section of Imanaliev Street, undergoing reconstruction, was also inspected. Work is underway on two kilometers of the road (the total length is 5 kilometers).

According to the project, there will be two traffic lanes with a total width of eight meters, 1.5-meter-wide sidewalks on each side, an irrigation system, and updated outdoor lighting. Participants also visited Muromskaya Street, where work is underway between Alykulov Street and Akhunbaev Street. The roadway will be 14 meters wide, with three meters of sidewalks on each side.
