In his report, he spoke about the national repatriation program being implemented on the instructions of President Sadyr Japarov. The program included the following operations:
Humanitarian mission Meerim (2021): 79 children were returned from Iraq.
Six stages of Operation Aikol (2022–2024): 470 people were repatriated from camps in Syria, including 150 women and 320 children.
Additional repatriation stages (2024–2025): these efforts increased the total number of returned citizens to 551.
Orozbekov stressed that the state places special emphasis on protecting the interests of children in order to prevent stigmatization and ensure their successful integration into society.
The Security Council Secretary is participating in the UN Counter-Terrorism Week, which began on June 29 in New York. As part of the event, he addressed the Fourth High-Level Conference held under the theme «A Future Free of Terrorism.»
