The project was implemented under the Grant Assistance for Grass-roots Human Security Projects.

The donated equipment included an endoscopic stand for transurethral resection (TUR) and an ultrasound dissector for the treatment of proctological diseases.

The total value of the donated equipment is $114,700.

The project aims to strengthen the medical facility’s material and technical resources, improve the quality of specialized medical care, and create more favorable conditions for patient treatment.

Japanese Ambassador Hirano Ryuichi noted that the embassy intends to continue supporting projects that directly improve the quality of life of local residents and meet basic human needs. He emphasized that education, healthcare, and the development of social infrastructure remain priority areas of cooperation.

The donated equipment will improve the quality of diagnostics and surgical treatment for urological and proctological diseases, and will expand doctors’ capabilities to provide modern and effective medical care to residents of Osh region and other regions of the country.

Furthermore, as part of the grant program, a handover ceremony for medical equipment (a stationary ultrasound diagnostic machine and a laparoscopic complex) was held at Myrza-Ake General Medical Practice Center.

The total value of the donated equipment is $111,300.

The Grant Assistance for Grass-roots Human Security Projects has been implemented in the Kyrgyz Republic since 1996. During this period, 198 projects have been implemented for a total of $13,595,996.
