According to him, Sharipbekova previously became a donor for her brother, donating 70 percent of her liver to save his life. After undergoing surgery and fully recovering, she returned to mountaineering and conquered one of Kyrgyzstan’s highest peaks.

«Not long ago, she performed a great act by becoming a donor for her brother. After recovering, Damira regained her strength and climbed to an altitude of 7,134 meters,» Daiyrbek Orunbekov wrote.

He expressed hope that the mountaineer will continue her sporting career and become one of Kyrgyzstan’s renowned female climbers.
