On July 19, embassy staff visited the hospitals where the injured had been admitted.
As of July 20, two Kyrgyz nationals, identified as N.A. and Zh. uulu A., had sustained injuries of varying severity. Their condition is reported to be satisfactory. They are currently receiving medical treatment at a hospital in Elektrostal.
Embassy officials also met with the victims’ relatives and provided them with the necessary consular and legal assistance.
At present, there is no officially confirmed information that any Kyrgyz citizens were among those killed in the incidents.
The embassy noted that on July 18 and 19, its hotline received calls from people searching for relatives who had lost contact following the fires, as well as from individuals who had lost their identity documents. The Kyrgyz nationals who had initially been unreachable later contacted their families.
Emergency travel documents allowing them to return to Kyrgyzstan were issued to two citizens who managed to evacuate safely but lost their personal belongings and documents in the fires.
According to earlier reports, logistics facilities operated by Wildberries-Russ in Elektrostal and Kotovsk were hit during an overnight drone attack on July 18, triggering fires at both warehouse complexes.
Preliminary reports indicate that 45 people were injured and one person was killed in Elektrostal, while seven people were killed and 32 injured in Kotovsk.
