«The Cabinet of Ministers has instructed the relevant agencies—the Customs Service, Tax Service, Ministry of Transport, and Ministry of Energy—to avoid creating obstacles and to speed up the delivery of fuel products. We have also signed an import contract with Belarus. There were transit-related issues with Russia, but they have now been resolved. Several railcars from Belarus have already arrived,» Rysbekov said.
He also recalled the previously signed agreement with Kazakhstan, under which Kyrgyzstan is expected to receive 15,000–20,000 tons of fuel oil per month. The fuel oil can be used as feedstock for deep processing at Kyrgyzstan’s oil refineries to produce AI 92 gasoline and diesel fuel of environmental classes K4 and K5.
Work is also underway to arrange fuel supplies from Uzbekistan.
