The meeting will be held in the year of the 25th anniversary of the founding of the SCO and will become one of the key high-level events within the framework of the chairmanship of the Kyrgyz Republic of the organization.

The event will bring together the foreign ministers of SCO member states, as well as representatives of the organization’s permanent bodies.

Current issues on the international and regional agenda, the current state and prospects for the further development of multifaceted cooperation within the SCO will be discussed.

Particular attention will be paid to strengthening peace, security and stability in the organization’s space, expanding trade and economic interaction, deepening cultural and humanitarian ties, as well as increasing the efficiency of the SCO.

The ministers are also expected to approve draft documents and discuss preparations for the upcoming SCO Summit in Bishkek.

The meeting in Cholpon-Ata, which holds the status of the tourist and cultural capital of the SCO for 2025-2026, is intended to emphasize the special significance of the anniversary year for further strengthening the unity, mutual trust and multifaceted cooperation among the member states of the organization.
