Recently, cases of violations of public order and current legislation by foreign citizens have been recorded, the department said.
Authorities reminded that violations of Kyrgyz legislation entail legal responsibility. Individuals found guilty of offenses may face administrative or criminal liability.
Court decisions have resulted in the deportation of more than 450 foreign citizens for breaches of migration regulations.
In addition, more than 7,900 foreign nationals have been held administratively liable. Fines totaling over 65 million soms have been imposed, while 39 people have been prosecuted under criminal law.
Several organizations involved in the recruitment of foreign workers have faced administrative measures and fines for violations of legal requirements.
Meanwhile, officers from the Department for Combating Extremism and Illegal Migration under the Main Internal Affairs Department of Bishkek continue to conduct preventive and awareness-raising activities.
In recent days alone, such sessions were held at 12 construction companies involving more than 1,500 foreign nationals, the majority of whom were citizens of China.
During the meetings, foreign citizens were informed about Kyrgyz legislation, the importance of maintaining public order, respecting the traditions and culture of the host country, and the legal consequences of committing offenses.
Similar preventive measures are also conducted daily from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. in entertainment venues across Bishkek to prevent violations and ensure public safety.
