The meeting is attended by Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Adylbek Kasymaliev, as well as the heads of government of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, Belarus Alexander Turchin, Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov, and Russia Mikhail Mishustin.

«I hope that the results of our joint work will give our countries confidence in the future, take integration processes within the Union to a new level, and become the key to sustainable economic growth and improved well-being,» Adylbek Kasymaliev said at the meeting of the Intergovernmental Council in a narrow format.

The Council’s work is being conducted in both narrow and expanded formats. The heads of government will discuss the development of Eurasian economic integration, the removal of barriers to mutual trade, the implementation of joint projects in industry, energy, transport, and digitalization, as well as other issues of cooperation within the EAEU.

In addition, a number of documents will be signed during the meeting, and the heads of government will meet with President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov.

The expanded session of the Eurasian Economic Council will continue on Friday.
