Following an inspection, the authorities decided to establish continuous monitoring of the lake’s condition.

To prevent a potential breach, local authorities have been instructed to allocate funds for special equipment, which will then be installed by MES specialists.

Deputy Minister Almazbek Asanov instructed officials to resolve the issue as soon as possible. Since the beginning of the year, ministry specialists have already inspected the lake three times.

On June 27, 2025, Takyr-Tor Lake in Issyk-Ata district of Chui region overflowed, prompting the evacuation of 950 people to safe areas.
