On August 4, the climbers successfully completed the ascent and contacted their operator. They reported that they were fully prepared for the descent and were beginning to head toward base camp.

The group failed to arrive at the checkpoint at the appointed time. Contact with the climbers was completely lost, and their current location remains unknown.

The Belarusian Mountaineering and Climbing Federation has already contacted its colleagues in the Kyrgyz Republic asking for assistance in searching for the missing group.
