A week ago, a liter of AI 92 cost 86.9 soms in Bishkek, compared with 87.9 soms now. This represents an increase of about 1.2 percent.

Prices for other major fuel types in the capital remained unchanged over the week. AI 95 is still priced at 109.9 soms per liter, diesel at 99.9 soms, and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) at 48.8 soms.

For comparison, AI 92 in Kazakhstan costs the equivalent of 46.8 soms, AI 95 60.8 soms, diesel 64.9 soms and LPG 21.1 soms. Over the week, prices for AI 95, diesel and LPG there increased slightly, by the equivalent of 0.1 som.

In Russia, prices declined slightly: AI 92 fell from 74.2 to 74 soms, AI 95 from 81.1 to 80.9 soms, diesel fuel from 89.1 to 88.8 soms, and LPG from 41.8 to 41.7 soms.

The prices cited by the Antimonopoly Regulation Service in Belarus, Armenia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan remained unchanged over the week.

AI 92 in Bishkek remains significantly more expensive than in Kazakhstan, Russia and Belarus, but cheaper than in Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Armenia.
