In June 2026, the average monthly nominal accrued salary at enterprises and organizations across all economic sectors increased by 27.5 percent compared with June 2025.

Adjusted for annual inflation of 11.5 percent, the real increase was about 16 percent. The amount employees receive after taxes and insurance contributions is lower.

In May, the average salary stood at 51,888 soms. According to official data, it increased by 3.6 percent month-on-month.

The largest year-on-year increases in average salaries in June 2026 were recorded in the following sectors:

arts, entertainment and recreation — 49.2 percent;

healthcare and social services — 43.7 percent;

agriculture, forestry and fishing — 36.1 percent;

professional, scientific and technical activities — 33.1 percent.

The number of officially registered unemployed people in Kyrgyzstan stood at 37,500 in January—July 2026, down 16.8 percent from the same period a year earlier.
