According to the Ministry of Construction, construction and installation work is currently 85 percent complete. More than 400 workers are involved in the project.

Nurdan Oruntaev instructed to increase the number of workers and accelerate construction to complete the project on schedule.

The reconstruction includes construction of an administrative center, a 300-seat congress hall, cottages in the national style, summer and winter dining halls, a gallery and a cultural events center with a capacity of 3,500 people.

The Manas Ordo complex covers a total area of 225 hectares. The museum building has been expanded from 450 to 1,500 square meters. It will showcase the history, culture and national heritage of the Kyrgyz people using modern architectural solutions.

The complex is undergoing its first reconstruction in 30 years. The project was developed by the Department of Urban Planning and Architecture under the ministry.

The reconstruction of Manas Ordo is scheduled to be completed by Kyrgyzstan’s Independence Day.
