According to the Ministry of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Communal Services, the General Department of Urban Development and Architecture of Bishkek has prepared urban planning conclusions and engineering-technical conditions as part of Green Belt. Air Quality Improvement in the Kyrgyz Republic project, starting in 2026.

The prepared documents determine the conditions for the placement of future facilities and their connection to utility networks, allowing for the design and construction phase to begin.

The wells are expected to provide a stable water supply for green areas regardless of the load on the centralized water system and seasonal fluctuations.

The ministry says the project is aimed at expanding green spaces, improving environmental conditions and air quality in Bishkek, and reducing smog levels.
