According to project author Viktor Tsoi, the artwork is dedicated to the strength and resilience of Central Asian women. The girl is depicted wearing a spacesuit, which symbolizes the expectations, restrictions and stereotypes that women face in everyday life.

The spacesuit concept is also connected to the location of the mural. At high altitude, people are closer to the night sky and outer space, while the surrounding mountains become part of the artwork’s concept. The project’s main message is that people can break free from imposed limitations and choose their own path.

KYZ POWER is a street-art project about women who choose different fields for self-realization, from science and art to business and mountaineering. The creators aim to highlight their independence, strength and determination to overcome obstacles.

According to the project team, most mountain murals around the world are created at altitudes of up to 2,500 meters. In La Paz, one of the world’s highest capitals, some murals are located at altitudes of up to 3,800 meters.

The KYZ POWER project will continue in Europe in autumn 2026. As part of the tour, the mural’s character will appear in several European cities.
