Kyrgyzstanis holding ordinary passports can enter China without a visa through 65 designated entry points, including airports in Beijing and Shanghai.

To qualify, travelers must have a confirmed ticket with a specified date and itinerary to a third country or region.

The maximum stay under the visa-free transit regime is 240 hours, or 10 days. Travelers must remain within the areas covered by the terms of the regime.

Separately, citizens of Kyrgyzstan are eligible for visa-free entry to Hainan province for up to 30 days. Holders of ordinary Kyrgyz passports can enter the island through designated ports and stay within the administrative areas of the province without a visa for up to 30 days. This will allow citizens of Kyrgyzstan to visit Hainan for tourism and business purposes without obtaining a Chinese visa in advance.

The visa-free regime does not apply to activities requiring prior approval. In particular, those traveling for employment, study or journalistic activities must obtain the appropriate Chinese visa in advance.

With the addition of Kyrgyzstan and Vietnam, the number of countries whose citizens are eligible for 240-hour visa-free transit has reached 57. The number of countries whose citizens are eligible for 30-day visa-free entry to Hainan has increased to 61.
