According to the State Committee for National Security (SCNS), from August 13 to 21, security officers, jointly with the Department of Internal Affairs of Issyk-Kul region, conducted raids at 31 sites employing foreign workers. During the operation, documents of more than 1,000 people from near and far abroad were checked.

As a result, fines totaling 2,701.5 million soms were imposed for violations of migration legislation. Authorities are currently considering the deportation of eight people from Kyrgyzstan.

The SCNS reminded that violations of entry, stay and registration rules, as well as working without the required permits, may result in fines, deportation and subsequent restrictions on entry into the country.
