The nine-member team arrived to compete at the VI World Nomad Games.

The U.S. team visited Bishkek Arena, where the opening ceremony of the World Nomad Games will be held on August 31.

The athletes will spend one day in Bishkek before traveling to Cholpon-Ata on August 26. The team will hold training sessions there.

The U.S. kok-boru team has participated in the World Nomad Games since 2014. This year, the International Kok-Boru Federation funded the team’s trip.

The VI World Nomad Games will be held in Kyrgyzstan from August 31 to September 6, 2026. The opening ceremony will take place at Bishkek Arena on August 31. Following the ceremony, the main competitions will be held in Issyk-Kul from September 1 to 6.
