- Traffic restrictions for passenger cars will be introduced in Issyk-Kul region from August 28 to September 6.
- Public transport will be free of charge during the restrictions.
- Roads from Semenovka village to Kyrchyn jailoo and from Kyrchyn to Grigoryevka village will operate as one-way routes.
- Parking areas will be located at seven designated sites in the region.
- The VI World Nomad Games will be held in Kyrgyzstan from August 31 to September 6, 2026.
Residents and visitors are asked to use public transport during this period whenever possible. According to the Main Traffic Safety Department, public transport will be free of charge.
The road from Semenovka village to Kyrchyn jailoo (pasture) and the road from Kyrchyn to Grigoryevka village will temporarily operate as one-way routes.
The Main Traffic Safety Department is urging drivers to leave their cars at designated parking areas and continue their journey by public transport.
The parking areas will be located at the following sites:
Bayet village — the grounds of Chaika recreation center;
Baktuu-Dolonotu village — the hippodrome;
Grigoryevka village — the municipal services yard;
Grigoryevka village — the school sports ground;
Semenovka village — the utility yard;
the southern side of Ananyevo village;
the southern side of Zharkynbai village, at the entrance to the village.
The VI World Nomad Games will be held in Kyrgyzstan from August 31 to September 6, 2026. The opening ceremony will take place in Bishkek on August 31, while the main competitions will be held in Issyk-Kul region.
