The new bridge allows passengers to move directly between the terminal and aircraft. This improves comfort and safety, particularly during cold weather and adverse weather conditions.

The equipment will facilitate the handling of international flights and growing passenger traffic.

The installation of the fourth boarding bridge is part of the modernization program for Manas Airport and the upgrade of its passenger infrastructure to meet modern international standards.

The large-scale modernization of Manas Airport began on May 7, 2025. As part of the project, the terminal was expanded by more than 22,000 square meters, the number of boarding gates was increased from eight to 13, and the baggage handling system was modernized. The number of parking spaces was increased from around 700 to 1,500. A multilevel parking facility and a new access road were also built.
