According to the Ministry of Culture, Information and Youth Policy, the event aims to strengthen the centuries-old spiritual and cultural ties between the Kyrgyz and Kazakh peoples, promote the art of improvisation and pass on national values to the younger generation.

Talented akyns — improvisers from Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan will take part in the international aitysh. They will demonstrate their mastery of the spoken word, wit and improvisational skills.

The total prize fund for the aitysh is 3 million soms.

The 6th World Nomad Games will be held in Kyrgyzstan from August 31 to September 6, 2026. The opening ceremony will take place in Bishkek on August 31, while the main competitions will be held in Issyk-Kul region.
